FORMER MARICOPA COUNTY ATTORNEY RICK ROMLEY ENDORSES GENERAL MICK MCGUIRE FOR U.S. SENATE
Phoenix - Today, ProTem Veterans Court Judge, Marine Corp veteran, and former Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley endorsed General Mick McGuire for U.S. Senate.
“General McGuire is without a doubt the best candidate to represent Arizona in the United States Senate. He has devoted his career to serving his country, is a man of integrity and faith and a proven leader. Our country is desperately lacking leadership; something Mick McGuire has in spades.”
“General McGuire is not afraid to make the tough decisions and has proved it many times during his eight years as Adjutant General for the Arizona National Guard. Arizonans want and need a leader who is accountable and responsive to them, not someone who plays politics,” Romley said.
Romley is a decorated Marine and served his country in the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart among a number of commendations. He has testified before Congress on numerous issues including terrorism, violent crime and victims’ rights.
“We are honored to have Rick on our team,” said General McGuire. “He brings years of political experience and leadership to the table. This is going to be a close primary and an even tougher general election. Knowing Rick is at our side will make a huge difference.”
