MCGUIRE STATEMENT ON DOBBS OPINION OVERTURNING ROE & CASEY

Phoenix – Today, the Supreme Court of the United States held “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

General McGuire said “The holding in today’s Dobbs opinion overruling Roe and Casey is a tremendous victory for the pro-life movement. It is a victory for every innocent life in our nation. It is a direct result of the hard work and prayers of tens of millions of Americans. It is also, by no means, the end of our fight. 

With the Supreme Court finally admitting that no constitutional right to abortion exists and that our elected representatives and people may regulate it, we must now fight to end this abhorrent practice at the state level. 

The radical left is already showing its true colors by undermining the legitimacy of our institutions, and more importantly, abandoning any semblance of a respect for innocent life. For decades our movement has fought against this type of extremism, and now, as much as ever, we must be unwavering in our commitment to our values. Life wins!”
